New items

  1. This is a very cool collection of model 1853 Enfield nose caps four of which still retain a fragment of the wood stock.  One is extra special in that I have shown this to many gun collectors, and it is a mystery.  It is clearly an Enfield nose cap with only one stud and an extra long channel or spru.  Very interesting.  All were dug here in middle Tennessee campsites.  $75.

  2. This is a very nice iron back floral pattern coat button found in a Confederate campsite in Tullahoma, TN.  This camp was occupied by Tennessee Infantry.  $25.

  3. A nice .58 caliber Federal cartridge box.  You will find the leather to be quit pliable and in very decent shape.  Both buckles and brass finial are present.  All this box need is a US boxplate and the tins are missing as is often the case.  $245.

  4. his is a cool fragment of a C.S.A. rectangle buckle.  This is the thin Tennessee / Virginia style and has the coolest letter there, and even the hook remnants.  This fine relic was dug by Kenny Copeland at Perryville, Kentucky.  $425.

  5. This is a nice Federal U.S. cartridge box plate dug by the late Pete Cryer in Murfreesboro, TN.  This plate has a nice brown patina, and great eye appeal.  Good looking plate.  $120.

  6. This is a beautiful model 1860 Cavalry saber.  This wonderful saber was made by ''Emerson and Silver'' of Trenton New Jersey and so marked on the blade.  The blade is very clean and still shiny, and the scabbard is in nice shape missing only the throat which is hardly noticeable. The original wrap is still nicely intact.  I cant make out the last number of the date and I am sure it has not been altered.  It reads 186?, but we know these are only war period swords.  If I had my guess it would be an 1861 or 1864.  Anyway a great Civil War sword at a price we all could live with.  $750.

  7. Very nice non dug . Springfield bayonet for the .58 caliber rifle.  Very nice aged patina, with locking ring and clear US markings present.  $150.

  8. Decent Colt revolver gun tool.  This gun tool is in stable condition and are one of the better tools to find.  Dug in Shelbyville, TN.  $22.

  9. Extremely scarce .54 Confederate Cosmopolitan Type 2.  This bullet is in great condition.  These bullets are dug from Texas campsites and most always from Arkansas.  $395.

  10. This is a wonderful piece of rarity.  This is a 2'' section of a CS marked Leech and Rigdon spur.  This fine artifact was dug at Brice's Crossroads in Mississippi.  This would be a great relic for restoration or a neat southern star to display with pride.  $225.

  11. Very nice condition Federal cap box made by C.S. Storms.  The stitching is good, and both loops still strong. The brass finial is nice and mellow.  Nice Civil War leather. $119.

  12. Very nice Springfield gun tool and nipple wrench.  Found in Murfreesboro, TN.  $20.

  13. Great Model 1840 ''Wristbreaker''.  This was the work horse of the Civil War, and the most widely used sword both North and South.  This sword retains the original wrap and wire in good condition.  Has a few service dings and marks as expected.  $750.
